Join our dynamic team at Fawkes IDM as a Docketing Manager, where you will spearhead the configuration and administration of our cutting-edge docketing system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the firm’s litigation docketing and calendaring processes, ensuring strict compliance with court rules, deadlines, and procedures.
- Implement, configure, and administer the docketing system (preferably CourtAlert), including user setup, template creation, and system updates.
- Collaborate effectively with litigators, paralegals, and administrative staff to guarantee accurate entry, tracking, and communication of all critical dates.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive written procedures and best practices for docketing and calendaring.
- Provide training for attorneys and staff on docketing procedures and system usage, along with ongoing support and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and adapt to changes in court rules, updating docketing procedures and templates as necessary.
- Conduct audits of docket entries for accuracy and completeness; perform regular reviews to ensure compliance.
- Oversee docketing staff (if applicable), encompassing hiring, training, and performance management.
- Act as the primary liaison with the docketing system vendor and IT for system maintenance and upgrades.
- Prepare regular reports on docketing activities, compliance, and risk management for firm leadership.
