Join Our Team as a Driver/Data Collector
At Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG), we are pioneers in field data collection, founded in 2017 in Europe. Our mission is to gather critical data in areas where automation falls short. We meticulously count features, capture images, create videos, record audio, and scan environments to provide the insights you need for informed decision-making. Our dedicated field teams operate across Europe and North America, eagerly embracing new challenges.
Project Overview
In this exciting project, we aim to collect high-quality visuals of streets, landmarks, and public areas throughout EU countries. As a driver, you will operate vehicles outfitted with state-of-the-art, removable 360° cameras and lidars to capture detailed imagery of the surroundings. The data you collect will be stored on onboard SSD drives and utilized to enhance one of the world’s leading online mapping platforms.
You will follow pre-defined routes that encompass public roads, commercial districts, and points of interest. To ensure optimal image quality, some locations may require revisiting under favorable weather conditions.
Project duration varies based on the specific data collection needs of each area, with assignments typically lasting between 3 to 6 months.
Work schedule: Full-time commitment during standard business hours (8 AM - 7 PM).
Recruitment Process: Candidates will undergo a driving safety assessment, an interview with a recruiter, and an onboarding process.
