As a Drying Operator at IKEA, you will play a vital role in our sawmill team. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the drying process of lumber in accordance with established protocols
Monitoring the technical condition of the drying facilities
Loading and unloading drying chambers
Preparing required documentation
Conducting inspections and maintenance of drying chambers
Overseeing the control program for the drying process
Continuously improving and deepening your knowledge regarding the drying process and its optimization
Collaborating closely with the sawmill foreman
Eventually training staff on the operation of drying equipment
