NetBox Labs is on the lookout for a driven and passionate Account Executive (AE) to significantly contribute to our business growth and expansion. This pivotal role involves proactive outbound prospecting alongside managing incoming leads. Given the technical nature of our product, a strong technical aptitude is essential to effectively convey our value proposition to potential clients. You will oversee the complete sales cycle, from initial prospecting and qualification to technical discussions, pricing, contract negotiation, deal closure, and renewal. This position requires a blend of technical understanding, sales expertise, and relationship-building skills to make a substantial impact and aid in the company's success.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively build, qualify, and close a new logo sales pipeline, ensuring you meet or exceed your quota while driving consistent booking growth.
Manage outbound initiatives to generate 30% of your pipeline.
Strategically prospect into Network Engineering management and technical end users, understanding their specific challenges and needs.
Cultivate strong, effective relationships with prospects utilizing a consultative sales approach, enhancing trust and accelerating deal velocity.
Focus on acquiring new customers as well as expanding revenue within existing accounts.
Maintain accurate forecasts and opportunity progress reports.
Collaborate with our Solutions Engineers to ensure technical alignment and communicate NetBox Labs’ value proposition and key differentiators.
Continuously seek to enhance your selling skills and refine the sales process.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the partner ecosystem and competitive solutions.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of SaaS field experience in quota-carrying roles within fast-paced markets, with a focus on closing new logos and managing complex sales processes. Familiarity with open source technologies is a plus.
At least 1 year of experience in a collaborative startup environment.
A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a readiness to engage in various aspects of the sales process to achieve goals.
A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and consistent performance.
