Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking a passionate Business Developer to join our exceptional team focused on prospecting and persuading merchants to amplify their business activity and sales potential through Groupon.
Where? You will be based in Marseille (remote working)
About the Role:
As a Business Developer within Groupon's local sales team, you will play a critical role in our marketplace growth by identifying, engaging, and onboarding new local merchants across a wide array of categories including beauty, wellness, travel experiences, dining, fitness, and services.
This role emphasizes prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals while adhering to defined sales processes. You will engage with a high volume of local merchants, developing strong foundations in consultative selling, pipeline management, and business execution, with support from your manager, team leader, and other departments.
Main Objective (North Star):
To build a robust pipeline of new local merchants and successfully onboard partners who meet Groupon's quality standards, thereby consistently contributing to marketplace growth.
Your Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential local merchants
- Qualify leads and manage the sales process
- Close deals to integrate new partners into the Groupon marketplace
