Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort is on the lookout for a skilled Conference Sales & Events Manager to join our vibrant team full-time.
In this pivotal role, you will lead our Events Team, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of events, functions, and conferences. Your responsibilities will include managing sales strategies, nurturing relationships with diverse clients, and driving new business through proactive upselling and effective communication to both new and returning clients, with a focus on achieving budgetary targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate event proposals to ensure they align with availability and strategic marketing objectives.
- Identify peak periods and develop promotional strategies to enhance event planning and execution.
- Timely distribution of special offers as needed.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendors on all event-related matters.
- Negotiate contracts, coordinate event space, arrange catering and audiovisual needs, and ensure decor meets the high standards of Minor Hotels.
- Promote our restaurant and event facilities in accordance with our annual marketing plan.
- Resolve any issues that arise before, during, or after events to ensure client satisfaction.
- Assist in budget preparation and provide reporting as required.
