Your Mission:
As a Data Analyst at City Wide, your primary goal is to facilitate franchise success and operational excellence by converting intricate data into clear, actionable insights. You will utilize your comprehensive understanding of the City Wide Model and our business operations to produce precise reports and visualizations that inform strategic decision-making across the organization.
In your role, you will play a crucial part in driving operational efficiency and enhancing franchise profitability by translating data into actionable insights. This position requires a thorough knowledge of the City Wide Model and our business operations to generate both standard and tailored reports. Collaborating with business process leaders and the Information Technology (IT) Analytics team, you will maintain and optimize the reporting data warehouse, providing accurate visualizations and in-depth analyses that support data-driven decision-making.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and update reports using Power BI and other reporting tools to reveal business insights, based on requirements received from business owners and augmented by your manager and IT team members.
- Analyze data and reports to draw conclusions that lead to enhancements in business processes and improve the performance of individuals, teams, and franchises.
- Ensure the accuracy of reports through thorough testing procedures.
- Document various reports for users and other IT team members.
- Regularly verify the completeness and accuracy of source data warehouse systems in MS Fabric and MS SQL Server and the processes populating the data warehouse systems, adhering to accepted practices, procedures, and schedules approved by management.
- Act as a liaison between business units and IT departments.
- Participate in business process modeling sessions.
- Engage in data warehouse modeling sessions.
- Conduct interviews and analyses to develop business cases for projects.
- Carry out preliminary investigations for project requests.
- Review project requirements, specifications, testing, support, and training plans to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Engage in root cause analysis to suggest appropriate actions to enhance productivity for business units and IT.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
