Your Role
The Sales Manager is crucial in guiding the sales team to achieve monthly objectives, nurturing and developing team talent, and meticulously implementing sales strategies. This role will also involve stepping in as a Sales Executive for key accounts and high-stakes negotiations when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Coaching (25-30%)
- Hold weekly one-on-one meetings to assess pipelines and progress towards targets.
- Provide continuous coaching on sales techniques, territory management, and client engagement.
- Conduct ride-alongs and role-play scenarios to enhance team performance.
- Celebrate team successes to keep morale high.
Sales Strategy & Planning (15-20%)
- Create monthly and quarterly sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Strategically assign territories and accounts.
- Analyze historical data to set ambitious yet achievable targets.
- Collaborate with marketing on lead generation initiatives.
Performance Tracking & Reporting (15-20%)
- Track key performance indicators such as revenue, conversion rates, and pipeline health.
- Prepare and present weekly sales reports to senior management.
- Identify performance trends and proactively manage challenges.
- Ensure accurate updates and reporting in the CRM system.
Recruiting, Hiring & Onboarding (10%)
- Identify, interview, and recruit high-performing sales talent.
- Create onboarding programs to enhance new representative productivity.
- Maintain a robust talent pipeline for future needs.
Cross-Department Collaboration (5-10%)
- Work closely with operations to ensure cohesive execution of sales strategies.
