Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of Via’s service in the East Bay area.
- Act as a real-time point of contact for drivers and dispatchers, creatively addressing operational issues and scheduling for a 24/7 team.
- Lead and mentor a dynamic team of dispatchers and shift managers.
- Serve as the public face of the operation, forging relationships with driver partners, customers, community leaders, and local organizations.
- Collaborate closely with Via's senior management and external partners.
- Establish clear metrics for team performance and provide weekly updates on KPIs.
- Analyze data and prepare reports to enhance operational processes and optimize customer satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant federal, state, local, and company policies and regulations.
- Inspire and develop a motivated team of drivers, promoting a vibrant and collaborative workplace culture.
