Role Overview:
We are in search of a proactive and strategic Marketing Assistant to support the founder in all marketing endeavors. This position is perfect for an individual who excels in planning, coordination, and execution rather than merely finishing tasks.
Your main goal will be to alleviate the founder’s cognitive load by managing marketing strategies, ensuring follow-through, and coordinating daily activities across various content, channels, and community engagements. This is an active role requiring foresight, creativity, and consistent execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Planning & Creation:
- Lead weekly content planning efforts, including:
- Developing a prioritized weekly shot list for the founder.
- Identifying topics, hooks, formats, platforms, and deadlines.
- Research trends and successful content, particularly in wellness and superfoods, along with TikTok-style content.
- Transform trends into engaging content ideas that showcase the founder’s on-camera strengths.
- Guarantee all content:
- Feels authentic, relatable, and aligns with our brand.
- Avoids generic, AI-generated tones.
- Maintains a consistent brand voice and reflects the founder's personality.
2. Channel Management:
i. Instagram:
- Plan and direct Instagram Stories, detailing:
- Daily promotions.
- Featured products.
- Clear calls to action (swipes, taps, links).
- Align Stories with launches, promotions, and events.
ii. Pinterest & LinkedIn:
- Repurpose existing content into:
- Pinterest pins and idea pins.
- LinkedIn posts that highlight the brand, founder's story, and products.
iii. Email Marketing:
- Contribute to email campaigns, including:
- Campaign ideation.
- Newsletters and flows related to launches and community engagement.
3. Community & Relationship Management:
i. Facebook Group:
- Foster growth in the Facebook group through product-driven traffic.
- Engage new members by:
- Welcoming them.
- Initiating conversations.
- Sharing relevant resources and content.
ii. Discord Community:
- Oversee the brand’s Discord server by:
- Responding to member inquiries (including technical questions).
- Supporting creators promoting the brand.
- Ensuring consistent communication and responsiveness.
