Role Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and executing cross-functional initiatives involving product, engineering, operations, and external partners in Portugal. Your leadership will ensure projects are delivered with robust governance, predictable timelines, and clear visibility for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project planning including scope, milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
- Establish and drive project governance cadence.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of milestones adhering to quality standards.
- Oversee and manage dependencies among teams, vendors, and third parties, addressing blockers with viable options.
- Implement structured change control for scope changes, ensuring alignment on timeline and cost impacts.
- Facilitate regular delivery execution rhythms, such as working sessions and weekly check-ins.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation: project plans, schedules, meeting notes, stakeholder updates, and handover packs.
- Ensure deliverables meet specified acceptance criteria and are operationally ready for launch.
- Generate concise reporting dashboards and executive summaries highlighting delivery confidence indicators and risks.
- Utilize Smartsheet and/or Odoo Projects for project management tasks.
- Leverage Jira for collaboration with product and engineering teams, including tracking progress and dependencies.
- Support intake reviews to ensure compliance with PMO governance standards prior to significant project commitments.
- Identify and propose improvements for recurring delivery challenges to enhance processes.
