As the Restaurant General Manager at Hardee's, you will lead your team to achieve remarkable sales growth while upholding our high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. Your leadership will ensure that exceptional customer service is delivered consistently. This role encompasses a range of operational management responsibilities, with an emphasis on cost control and maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellence in quality, service, and cleanliness while focusing on profitability.
- Recruit, interview, and hire staff to meet operational needs in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Develop effective staff schedules to ensure operational efficiency and accommodate customer flow.
- Train and mentor management and crew members using the current company training system.
- Evaluate employee performance and create individualized development plans to enhance their skills.
- Foster a collaborative and professional relationship between management and crew members.
- Provide coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Conduct team meetings to discuss operational procedures and address any HR issues as they arise.
- Maintain inventory levels and conduct weekly inventory counts to support smooth operations.
- Control payroll and inventory in alignment with company standards.
- Support the District Manager in operational decision-making and maintain compliance with all regulations.
- Ensure proper maintenance of the building and equipment through established procedures.
- Handle cash management duties, including bank deposits and adherence to cash handling policies.
- Exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Enforce sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures rigorously.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the District Manager.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills, demonstrating effective communication at all organizational levels. A customer-driven approach and the ability to make swift decisions under pressure are essential. A competitive spirit and a sense of ownership in both career development and company success are highly valued. Prior experience at Hardee's or Carl's Jr. is a plus.
