The Restaurant Manager plays a pivotal role in assisting the Restaurant Leader with the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring adherence to Raising Cane’s high standards and culture while managing shifts effectively.
This position requires working in a bustling kitchen environment, which involves prolonged physical activity such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending, along with engaging with customers. The role also entails outdoor and indoor tasks in varying temperatures, handling food products and allergens, and using commercial cleaning supplies that necessitate personal protective equipment.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Purpose of the Position:
- Guarantees compliance with Raising Cane’s standards across all restaurant zones during a shift.
- Serves as the manager on duty, responsible for opening and closing the restaurant.
- Oversees cash handling processes and maintains accountability.
- General Responsibilities:
- Upholds and enforces Raising Cane’s policies and standards.
- Manages shifts in accordance with Raising Cane’s operational and safety protocols.
- Utilizes necessary tools, forms, and logs to support shift execution, document outcomes, and implement corrective actions as required.
- Leads and directs crewmembers throughout shifts.
- Delivers outstanding customer service.
- Implements the reward and recognition program for crewmembers.
- Authorizes employee activities requiring managerial approval (e.g., discounts, promotions, time clock overrides).
- Maintains cleanliness and operational efficiency of the restaurant.
- Completes additional tasks as assigned.
