Your Responsibilities
Lead a High-Performing Team
- Inspire your team with a positive, proactive attitude
- Provide clear guidance and assist with food service, restocking, cleaning, or cash handling as needed
- Mentor team members in real-time, offering support and advice during every shift
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and empathy, escalating when necessary
Ensure Operational Excellence
- Train your team to uphold RaceTrac’s customer service, food safety, and cleanliness standards
- Oversee inventory management, vendor check-ins, and promotional communications
- Supervise critical store processes including write-offs, cash handling, and compliance documentation
- Facilitate effective shift change communication to maintain team alignment
Exemplify Clear Communication & Accountability
- Communicate important updates from leadership to shift associates effectively
- Monitor task completion and provide instant feedback to drive success
- Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and collaboration within your team
- Proactively assist during peak times or challenges, demonstrating exemplary leadership
Qualifications We Seek
- 2–3 years of experience in a retail, restaurant, or food service setting preferred
- 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Comfortable in high-pressure, guest-oriented environments
- Ability to complete tasks and coach others effectively
- Strong communication and team-building capabilities
Essential Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (completed or in progress)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks without frequent breaks
