In this pivotal leadership position, you will be accountable for the overall operational performance of the site, focusing on financial metrics, quality assurance, service excellence, safety protocols, and inventory management. As a visionary leader, you will cultivate a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring the flawless execution of shipping, receiving, and material finishing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve translating market insights and customer demands into actionable strategies that provide a competitive edge. You will play a crucial role in creating an environment where safety is paramount and operational excellence is the norm.
Strategic Site Management: Formulate and execute annual and long-term business strategies, including capital budgeting and operational expense oversight. You will lead cross-functional project initiatives and apply benchmarking to align with divisional objectives.
Operational Excellence: Propel improvements in quality, efficiency, and cost savings by implementing contemporary manufacturing and improvement techniques such as ELS (Avery Dennison's Enterprise Lean System). You will ensure compliance with ISO 9000 standards and oversee site-wide inventory management.
Talent Development & Leadership: Function as a change leader to inspire and guide team members. You are responsible for the complete talent management lifecycle, from attracting and retaining top talent to delivering consistent feedback through our Global Performance Management System.
Safety & Compliance: Direct the secure operation of the facility, guaranteeing full adherence to legal, legislative, and corporate safety standards while establishing safety as an essential organizational value.
