Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Pursuing or recently completed an MS or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering.Minimum GPA of 3.0.Proven analytical skills demonstrated through relevant industrial experience or academic projects.Proficiency in mechanical analysis and design tools (e.g., ANSYS, Hyperworks, Matlab, SolidWorks).Basic understanding of dynamics, vibration control, testing, and associated data analysis.Hands-on laboratory experience with tools such as Laser Doppler Vibrometers, Fourier analyzers, and oscilloscopes.Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with machine learning concepts is advantageous.The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials along with practical experience in finite element analysis of complex structures and systems.Skills:Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Collaborating with a diverse range of engineering disciplines, you'll play a vital role in delivering top-tier products that meet the industry's highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct simulations of sophisticated HDD servo-mechanical systems utilizing various finite element analysis techniques, including statics, dynamics, electromagnetics, vibro-acoustics, and computational fluid dynamics.
- Perform correlation experiments to validate simulation outputs.
- Collaborate with mechanical and servo design engineers to enhance designs and propose innovative solutions to meet stringent product specifications.
Work closely with internal manufacturing teams to conduct analyses ensuring robust, high-volume manufacturing tooling and processes.
