We are seeking an experienced Freelance Designer who excels at melding UX and product strategy through compelling brand storytelling. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Shopify and direct-to-consumer (DTC) ecommerce, and this application serves as an expression of interest for freelance opportunities rather than an immediate opening. We will reach out to qualified designers as new projects become available.
- Retainer engagements typically range from 10-15 hours per week, scoped at the beginning of each sprint.
- Project-based work generally spans 16-32 hours per week over a duration of 1-3 months, with defined scopes established before project kickoff.
Your Responsibilities:
- Transform creative briefs into high-quality, functional designs that align with our clients' objectives and target audiences.
- Produce comprehensive documentation, including detailed annotations and assets for developers and team members.
- Establish and maintain extensive Figma design systems and component libraries.
- Innovate ways to bring your designs to life through motion graphics and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Provide expert advice to clients on ecommerce and UX best practices.
