Ecommerce Data Quality Administrator (4-Week Project)
Duration: 4 Weeks | Start Date: Immediate | Location: UK Only Rate: £16 per hour (£120 per day based on 7.5 hours)
About the Role: This position is distinct from standard data entry work. As we transition our furniture product database into a new retail partner’s framework, ensuring absolute accuracy is paramount. Your main responsibilities will include translating data ranges and, more critically, conducting a thorough manual audit of every data cell to confirm that the information is logical and consistent.
This meticulous task demands a candidate who is comfortable delving deeply into spreadsheets throughout the project's duration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Mapping: Utilize INDEX(MATCH) and Data Validation to facilitate the transfer of data into new templates.
- Line-by-Line Audit: Execute a meticulous, cell-by-cell examination of every product, identifying hidden errors that formulas might overlook, such as discrepancies in finish descriptions or implausible product dimensions.
- Logical Verification: Validate weights, dimensions, and materials against a master database.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Proactively reach out to business stakeholders to confirm information if any data appears inaccurate or missing.
