As an Electrical Assessor II, you will conduct comprehensive facility condition assessments of electrical and low-voltage systems across a variety of building types, including healthcare, educational, sports, municipal, and commercial facilities throughout the United States.

Ideal candidates often come from backgrounds as Journeyman or Master Electricians, Maintenance Electricians, or Instrumentation and Electrical Technicians for institutional employers. Expect short-term projects typically lasting from one to six months, with field assignments usually one week at a time, averaging no more than two per month.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site assessments of existing buildings as part of a multidisciplinary team, evaluating various building electrical systems including emergency power, photovoltaic, fire alarm, security, data communication, and surveillance systems.
- Collaborate effectively with clients and on-site personnel to assess client assets, maintaining an average daily walk rate of 125,000 to 250,000 square feet.
- Assess the condition, remaining useful life, required costs, and necessary remedial measures for electrical and low-voltage systems.
- Provide detailed technical identification and descriptions of deficiencies ranging from concerns to critical issues.
- Offer correction recommendations with sufficient technical detail to aid in future project planning and cost estimation.
- Interview building operations and maintenance staff to gather building history, previous work orders, and operations information; prepare project progress documentation for project manager review.
- Review peer work and actively participate in post-project evaluations.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
