Qualifications
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee electrical design for utility-scale renewable projects, including high voltage systems exceeding 33kV.Produce essential design elements such as protection schemes, cable sizing, transformer selection, and earthing design.Engage across the complete project lifecycle, from early design stages to construction, commissioning, and energization.Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure designs are practical, compliant, and delivered swiftly.Assist with grid connection design and liaise with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) and Transmission System Operators (TSOs) as necessary.Facilitate rapid project execution by addressing technical challenges in a dynamic delivery environment.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the UK energy or infrastructure sector.Demonstrated experience with projects involving voltages up to at least 33kV.Familiarity with UK standards and grid requirements.Proven track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, including:Renewable energy projects (solar, wind, battery energy storage systems).Power generation facilities or power stations.Transmission or distribution networks.Data centers or other critical infrastructure.Strong expertise in:Protection systems.Power systems design.Cable sizing.Transformer selection.
