As an Electrical Inspector at AECOM, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that electrical works meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your responsibilities will include:
- Thoroughly reviewing and interpreting package contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures, along with any relevant updates.
- Monitoring contractor compliance with contract standards and specifications through diligent observation, measurements, testing, and quality assurance tracking.
- Keeping accurate records of contractor manpower and equipment resources on a daily basis.
- Conducting site supervision and inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE).
- Documenting contractor personnel, equipment, observed activities, locations, reasons for activities, and methods utilized in the assigned areas.
- Reporting on material deliveries and implementing site instructions from leadership while adhering to quality control procedures.
- Preparing necessary site measurements and surveying checks as instructed by the project lead.
- Ensuring conformance to quality, performance, and code requirements through rigorous inspection duties.
- Monitoring the health and safety aspects of construction works and reporting any violations.
