Qualifications
Essential:We are looking for a skilled electrician with at least 4 years of experience, having completed an electrical apprenticeship. You must demonstrate strong technical proficiency with motors, drives, PLC panels, calibration, testing, and inspection (17th/18th Edition). The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team is essential, along with clear communication skills, the capacity to read schematics, design installations, and effectively solve problems. Experience working at height (including MEWPs), a strong safety-first mindset, excellent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines are crucial. Practical skills, experience in supplier liaison, and a positive, collaborative attitude are also mandatory.Desirable:Proficiency in computer usage, additional relevant qualifications, and further Health & Safety training are considered advantageous.

Join our team as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, where your expertise will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of our plant, machinery, and equipment to uphold our high safety standards. You will be responsible for performing routine electrical maintenance, promptly addressing breakdowns to reduce downtime, and installing new electrical services in compliance with regulations and manufacturer specifications.
Your commitment to safety will be paramount, as you will adhere to all Safe Systems of Work, COSHH standards, and PPE guidelines. You will utilize tools, machinery, and equipment safely, immediately reporting any defects you encounter.
This role requires collaboration with Production Team Leaders to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruption, support troubleshooting efforts, and assist in identifying preventive maintenance improvements. You may also need to assist with out-of-hours breakdowns and help procure maintenance consumables and equipment.
