Qualifications
Essential Requirements:HND in an Electrical discipline or equivalent with substantial industrial experience.BS7671 18th Edition certification.Proven experience as an electrical technician/electrician in an industrial or commercial setting.Desirable Requirements:City & Guilds Safe Isolation and Testing certification.City & Guilds Fault Diagnosis and Rectification certification.Knowledge of electrical maintenance techniques and industry best practices.

This position requires onsite work for five days a week, though we are supportive of flexible working arrangements.
Your primary responsibilities will involve assisting Plant Responsible Officers with major complex machine control and protection systems for the MAST-U Tokamak. You will also be responsible for fault-finding activities on electrical and C&I systems, managing work packages, and preparing essential plant documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver small to medium work packages, collaborating with engineers and technicians.
- Prepare control documentation for plant activities while supervising technicians and electricians.
- Conduct fault-finding on MCP & Diagnostic plant systems safely and effectively.
- Oversee minor installation and modification tasks.
- Propose improvements to enhance plant reliability and performance.
