Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and test EMI filters for a variety of Archer products, including guidance on component selection, layout strategies, and grounding techniques.
- Conduct comprehensive circuit and FEM simulations to assess emissions, susceptibility, ESD, and lightning strike resilience.
- Provide expert EMC recommendations to electrical, power electronics, and mechanical engineering teams regarding PCB layout, cable shielding, and enclosure designs.
- Collaborate closely with EMC test engineers to design, test, and certify Archer products in accordance with DO-160G and MIL-461G standards.
- Engage with EMC test laboratories for compliance testing of Archer products at the aircraft level and for DO-160/MIL-461G.
