About the Role
We invite you to be part of a dynamic and swiftly expanding team of fewer than ten seasoned engineers specializing in server, firmware, and mobile development, dedicated to the launch of an exciting, yet-to-be-announced product line. Despite our fast-paced environment, we prioritize robust engineering practices. Our vision extends beyond mere product launch; we are committed to establishing a reliable, scalable, and technically sound foundation for future developments.
What You'll Do
This role is both impactful and diverse, with a primary focus on embedded Linux development. You will play a crucial role in the launch of a brand-new product line and in defining its technical trajectory.
Key responsibilities encompass:
- Linux System Bring-up: Delving deep into the Linux environment, including the Linux kernel, device trees, and userspace applications, with a strong focus on the Yocto Project.
- Product Launch and Development: Serving as a core contributor, you will take charge of various tasks across the stack to guarantee the product line's success.
- Collaboration: Partnering closely with hardware engineers, software engineers, and product managers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Team Growth: Contributing to the scaling of the team in terms of features, personnel, and customer base, actively participating in the next chapter of our rapidly evolving company's narrative.
