THE ROLE
As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality emergency veterinary care. You will engage with a variety of cases, from straightforward issues to complex emergencies, collaborating with veterinarians and support staff to provide gold-standard, empathetic care. Your responsibilities will include triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, all while being a reassuring presence for pet owners during their most challenging times. This position is ideal for individuals eager to apply their training, enhance their skills, and support pets and their families during critical moments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Treat every patient and owner with care and dignity—because they matter! You will provide unwavering support through every step of the treatment process.
- Respond swiftly, delivering nursing care, treatments, and emotional reassurance during critical moments, from triage through to discharge.
- Administer medications and perform monitoring tasks with expertise—from IVs and CRIs to blood transfusions and more.
- Communicate effectively as a team player, contributing to care planning and ensuring seamless communication.
- Be prepared to perform CPR as a certified RECOVER professional; we provide extensive training and boast a high number of RECOVER CPR professionals on our team.
