The Role
As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you'll be an integral part of our emergency care team, ready to tackle a diverse range of cases where every second matters. You will collaborate closely with our veterinarians to deliver exemplary, compassionate care. This role encompasses triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, providing emotional support to pet parents in their most challenging moments. We seek individuals eager to apply their training, expand their skills, and make a real difference in the lives of animals and their owners.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care to every patient and their owners, ensuring they feel supported and understood throughout their journey.
- Act promptly to deliver nursing care, treatments, and emotional reassurance during critical situations, from triage to discharge.
- Administer medications and perform monitoring duties, showcasing your expertise in IVs, CRIs, blood transfusions, and more.
- Communicate effectively with your team, contributing to care plans and facilitating smooth operations.
- Be prepared to perform CPR as a certified RECOVER professional, with ongoing training provided to enhance your skills.
