About the Role
As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will become an integral part of our dynamic team, operating at the forefront of emergency veterinary care. You will manage a diverse array of cases, from minor incidents to complex emergencies, collaborating closely with our veterinarians to deliver compassionate, gold-standard care. This role encompasses triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, all while providing emotional support to pet parents during their most distressing moments. We seek someone eager to fully utilize their training, expand their skillset, and make a significant difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care and support to both pets and their owners, remaining by their side during all stages of treatment.
- Deliver nursing care, treatments, and emotional support during critical situations from triage to discharge.
- Administer medications and perform essential monitoring, including IVs, CRIs, and blood transfusions.
- Foster effective communication and teamwork, helping to develop care plans and ensure seamless patient care.
- Be prepared to perform CPR as a certified RECOVER professional, with ongoing training available to enhance your skills.
