THE JOB
As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be an integral member of our dynamic team, operating at the forefront of emergency veterinary care where every moment matters. You will address a broad spectrum of cases, ranging from minor issues to complex emergencies, collaborating closely with our skilled veterinarians to deliver top-notch, empathetic care. Your responsibilities will include triage, treatment, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, all while providing a calm and supportive presence for pet owners during their most trying times. This role is ideal for an individual eager to apply their training, enhance their skill set, and assist pets and their families in urgent situations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Treat every patient and person with the utmost respect—because they truly matter! You’ll ensure that pets and their owners receive unwavering support throughout tests, treatments, and everything in between.
- Act swiftly to deliver nursing care, treatments, and emotional support during critical moments, from triage to discharge.
- Administer medications and monitor patients, showcasing your expertise from IVs and continuous rate infusions to blood transfusions and beyond.
- Communicate effectively as a team player and think like a leader, contributing to care plans and maintaining the flow of treatment.
- Be prepared to perform CPR as a certified RECOVER professional; not only do we provide training, but we also boast the highest number of RECOVER CPR professionals and instructors in the field.
