The Role
As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be an essential member of our emergency care team, responding swiftly to a variety of cases, from minor to critical emergencies. Collaborating closely with our veterinarians, you will deliver top-tier, empathetic care while managing triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, and critical nursing duties. This role is ideal for individuals eager to apply their skills in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the wellbeing of pets and their families during challenging times.
Your Responsibilities
- Treat every patient and their owner with compassion and respect, providing support during every step of the emergency process.
- Deliver nursing care and emotional support in critical situations, from initial triage to discharge.
- Administer medications, perform monitoring, and utilize advanced techniques, including IVs and blood transfusions.
- Collaborate effectively with the team, contributing to care plans and ensuring seamless treatment delivery.
- Be prepared to perform CPR and other life-saving techniques, with full RECOVER training provided.
