WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO
- Provide each patient and client with the utmost compassion and care.
- Conduct basic to intermediate nursing care tasks, including patient monitoring and treatments.
- Utilize your knowledge of common diseases and conditions to accurately triage incoming patients.
- Administer medications through subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous methods, while being aware of potential adverse effects.
- Set up, monitor, and administer intravenous fluid therapy, including constant rate infusions and blood transfusions.
- Collaborate as a team member in both outpatient care for incoming patients and ongoing inpatient care.
- Engage in giving and receiving patient rounds to ensure continuity of care.
- Complete training to perform all aspects of CPR as a RECOVER Certified Rescuer.
- Collect samples for diagnostic testing and assist with various procedures.
