THE ROLEAs an Emergency Veterinary Nurse Trainer at VEG, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the professional growth of our nursing staff. Your responsibilities will include coaching, mentoring, and guiding both new and experienced team members through hands-on training. You will design and tailor educational programs that cater to diverse learning styles, fostering confidence and skill development in emergency veterinary medicine.Key responsibilities include:Collaborating with leadership to assess training needs.Evaluating veterinary assistants and credentialed technicians through direct observation.Facilitating growth through VEG’s Cultivate program.Implementing training initiatives and serving as the primary training resource within your hospital.Balancing time between direct mentorship and strategic training development.Creating inclusive training experiences that accommodate all skill levels.Promoting peer learning and strengthening our mentoring culture.Partnering with nursing managers to enhance our training impact.
