THE ROLE
As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Nurse, you will join a dynamic team on the front lines of emergency veterinary care, where your skills will be put to the test in high-pressure situations. You will manage a variety of cases, from minor to critical emergencies, working closely with our veterinary doctors to provide exceptional and empathetic care. Your responsibilities will include triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, all while offering comfort to pet owners during their most challenging times. This position is ideal for those who wish to apply their training, expand their expertise, and deliver care when it is most needed.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Treat every patient and their human companions with the utmost respect and care, ensuring they feel supported throughout their medical journey.
- Take prompt action in delivering nursing care, treatments, and emotional support, guiding patients from triage to discharge.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform advanced procedures including IVs and blood transfusions.
- Collaborate with team members and actively participate in care planning.
- Maintain preparedness to perform CPR, leveraging our extensive training program and our team of certified RECOVER CPR professionals.
