Position Overview
The Employee Benefits Account Manager acts as the primary relationship steward for designated large accounts, playing a vital role in client retention and satisfaction. This role encompasses the analysis of client needs, the recommendation of relevant coverage solutions, the management of renewals, and the assurance of exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain a portfolio of large accounts
- Act as the main point of contact for client relationships
- Lead the renewal process proactively in partnership with clients, carriers, and vendors
- Assess client business requirements and propose appropriate coverage solutions
- Support Employee Benefits Sales Producers in new business initiatives and carrier quoting
- Cross-sell products across various coverage lines
- Ensure precise documentation in the Agency Management System (AMS)
- Assist producers with account management tasks
- Engage in renewal meetings
- Provide prompt and thorough resolutions to account-related issues
- Work additional hours during peak renewal periods as necessary
