AHRC NYC is seeking a dedicated Case Manager (internally referred to as Employment & Community Services Coordinator - ECSC) for our Employment Business Services (EBS) program in Staten Island. The Case Manager will play a pivotal role in assisting our pre-employment caseload, effectively coordinating and directing services to facilitate a successful transition into the workforce for our participants. This position emphasizes exceptional customer service, conducting engaging work readiness lessons, and collaborating closely with the job development team to secure employment opportunities for participants.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm, with occasional evenings and weekends required for recruitment events.
Compensation: $38,000-$42,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive health benefits package at low-to-no cost. Please refer to the benefits information below.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and support to job seekers through tailored work readiness lessons, one-on-one counseling, and group workshops.
Collaborate with internal teams and community partners to coordinate services and connect participants with job opportunities.
Foster strong relationships with funding sources, educational institutions, training programs, and employers.
Ensure compliance with state and federal program guidelines.
Actively engage in outreach, recruitment, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the employment journey.
