Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled End-User Computing (EUC) Engineer who has hands-on experience managing user endpoints such as laptops, Azure Virtual Desktops (AVDs), and mobile devices. This pivotal role involves maintaining and optimizing our endpoint ecosystem while proactively identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities across all user devices in our organization.
You will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies to modernize outdated endpoint configurations to cloud-based solutions, aligning with our strategic goal to streamline device management and enhance user experience. This includes supporting projects that facilitate the migration of users to cloud-hosted desktop and mobile device management solutions, ensuring seamless integration and secure operation.
Working under the mentorship of the Senior EUC Engineer and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, your contributions will help guarantee the reliability, security, and compliance of all user endpoints. You will engage in initiatives aimed at modernizing and simplifying device provisioning, patching, and support processes while fostering best practices in endpoint security and configuration. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in endpoint management solutions, experience in vulnerability management, and a keen interest in cloud migration strategies for end-user computing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Endpoint Platform Engineering
- Assist in designing, building, and maintaining standardized laptop configurations (Windows and/or macOS).
- Oversee endpoint provisioning and automation processes (zero-touch builds, enrollment, and rebuilds).
- Engineer and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) / VDI environments.
- Manage mobile device platforms (iOS, Android) using MDM/MAM tools.
- Ensure high availability and optimal performance of endpoint platforms.
Security, Compliance & Resilience
- Implement and uphold:
- Disk encryption
- Secure boot
- Endpoint hardening standards
- Collaborate with the Security team to:
- Enforce endpoint security protocols
- Assist in vulnerability remediation
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2 / ISO / internal policies
- Support endpoint logging, monitoring, and incident response
Operations & User Experience
- Act as an escalation point for intricate EUC issues.
- Diagnose performance, stability, and access challenges across laptops, AVDs, and mobile devices.
- Work closely with Operations to enhance incident response and minimize recurring issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation and create self-service knowledge articles.
Lifecycle & Optimization
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of endpoint devices, ensuring efficient upgrades and replacements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to optimize endpoint management.
