About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Community Manager to cultivate and engage a thriving community of approximately 160 entrepreneurs. This role focuses on daily interactions via Slack, fostering relationships, ensuring member satisfaction, and coordinating events that enhance community engagement. As the Community Manager, you will be instrumental in creating meaningful connections, encouraging active participation, and nurturing a vibrant, professional, and energetic community atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Community Engagement:
- Lead daily discussions within Slack, actively managing and participating in conversations.
- Spark discussions, motivate participation, and keep community members connected.
- Uphold a professional, warm, and optimistic tone in all communications.
Relationship Development & Member Connections:
- Facilitate introductions and connect members based on shared interests and goals.
- Promote collaboration and foster meaningful peer-to-peer relationships.
- Serve as a connector to enhance member trust and engagement.
Member Check-Ins & Satisfaction Management:
- Conduct regular check-ins with members (e.g., biannually) to assess satisfaction and gather feedback.
- Identify areas for improvement and address any concerns to enhance member retention.
- Actively address member needs to ensure long-term satisfaction.
Event Coordination & Execution:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute members' events such as retreats and meetups.
- Manage logistics to ensure a seamless and enriching member experience.
- Support initiatives that strengthen community bonds and deepen relationships.
Engagement Tracking & Reporting:
- Monitor community engagement metrics, including participation levels and event attendance.
- Compile insights on member engagement and satisfaction for reporting.
- Utilize data to inform strategies for retention and community enhancement.
Feedback & Survey Management:
- Oversee satisfaction surveys using tools like Typeform and email.
- Analyze feedback and share actionable insights with internal teams.
Ownership & Retention:
- Track churn indicators and proactively support retention through relationship-building.
- Take responsibility for community health by identifying gaps and implementing solutions.
- Remain adaptable and responsive to community needs without direct supervision.
