The Role:
We are in search of an Engineering Manager to lead and nurture two teams of engineers responsible for two of Arketa's four core product lines. This role is crucial, requiring a blend of leadership and technical insight, as you collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to deliver features that will directly impact the wellness sector.
What You’ll Do:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers across two product lines.
Collaborate with Product and Design leadership to establish strategic goals and roadmaps.
Promote technical excellence through architecture decisions, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
Ensure timely delivery of features while maintaining a balance of quality, scalability, and speed.
Work alongside other engineering managers to align technical direction across all product lines.
Play a pivotal role in recruiting, onboarding, and developing top engineering talent.
Cultivate a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
What We’re Looking For:
A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in an engineering management capacity.
Demonstrated experience leading teams responsible for multiple product areas or lines.
Solid technical foundation with familiarity in modern web technologies (Rails, React, Node, or similar).
Proven track record of driving projects from conception to completion.
