Your Role
We seek a proactive Technical Lead Manager to design, build, and sustain the core data infrastructure that supports Stripe’s business operations. This individual will define technical strategies and lead an impactful team across Treasury, Finance & Billing. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in modern data systems such as Airflow, Spark, Kafka, and Flink, combined with a strong ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, cultivate team culture, and unlock new capabilities.
- Create advanced data pipelines that scale efficiently and reliably to meet user demands.
- Lead and nurture a team of talented engineers, offering mentorship and guidance for their professional growth.
- Oversee the execution of critical reporting initiatives, managing the entire development lifecycle while maintaining high-quality standards and timely delivery.
- Work alongside product managers and key organizational leaders to develop a unified roadmap, promoting the use of canonical datasets and ensuring data integrity.
- Identify user needs and pain points to prioritize engineering tasks and deliver optimal solutions.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in architecture and design, ensuring robust and scalable solutions for data needs.
