The Platform Experience team serves as a crucial link between Platform and Product engineering. We empower product teams to deploy robust code by collaborating directly with developers to tackle production challenges and implement systematic enhancements. We're integral to Wealthsimple's commitment to reliability: when our products operate seamlessly, our customers can confidently rely on us with their financial futures. As part of your role, reporting to the Senior Manager of Software Development, you'll lead a senior team of Software Developers who work directly with product teams to deliver trustworthy and error-free experiences. Balancing technical expertise with effective people management, you'll set clear expectations, provide constructive feedback, and cultivate an environment where your team can excel. Collaborating with Platform, Product, Design, and Data teams, you'll align priorities and navigate informed trade-offs. You'll also take charge of team well-being, professional growth, and ensuring we learn from incidents to drive continuous improvement.
