The Position
As an Engineering Team Leader, you will oversee the performance and productivity of a small team of engineers, acting as their representative and ensuring that every team member thrives. You will cultivate team dynamics, empowering individuals to reach their full potential while steering the team towards optimized execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a small product team of 3-5 engineers (both backend and frontend).
- Dedicate 30% of your time to management tasks while actively participating in product development within your team.
- Participate in the hiring process for your team and assist peers when necessary.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new engineers joining the team.
- As the spokesperson for your team, manage team dynamics and bring out the best in everyone.
- Provide ongoing constructive feedback on all aspects of performance.
- Support continuous growth for the team and take responsibility for each direct report’s career development.
- Offer guidance and coaching to team members.
- Redesign engineering workflows utilizing autonomous agents as the primary execution layer.
- Propose and operationalize agentic workflows.
