In this role, you will engage with mechanical tasks and contribute to maintaining our equipment and tools in optimal condition. No two days will be alike, making this an exciting opportunity for those who enjoy variety in their work.
Your responsibilities will include assisting in the repair, maintenance, and rebuilding of non-centrifuge and non-pump related solids control equipment. The Shop Tech - 1 will also support facility projects and manage shop shipping and receiving operations, employing both hand and power tools during maintenance and repair processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and prepare equipment for installation and service.
- Assist with packing, wrapping, loading, and unloading shipments.
- Utilize hot-water pressure washers to clean equipment as needed.
- Support facility projects including moving items, packing, and cleaning.
- Collaborate with team members on equipment installation and maintenance.
- Conduct QA/QC checks prior to equipment shipping and accurately document results.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment, including applying required S3S decals.
- Request necessary tools and supplies for your tasks.
- Flexibility to work at different locations as required.
