Join Tailored Access, a GRVTY Company, as we seek skilled Systems Administrators to bolster our vital Intelligence Community (IC) missions. As a cyber professional, you will collaborate with a dedicated team on the frontlines in the fight against cyber adversaries.
Position Overview:
The Systems Administrator will deliver High Performance Computing (HPC) services, enhancing sustainment capabilities across two geographically dispersed locations. Responsibilities include:
- Managing systems operating on Red Hat, CentOS, SUSE, and specialized vendor-specific operating systems, along with high-speed shared storage solutions (e.g., Lustre, GPFS) and low-latency network interconnects such as Infiniband and Slingshot.
- Transitioning systems into Operations by working collaboratively to plan, deliver, and integrate new or additional HPC sustainment capabilities, including HPC systems, servers (cluster, SMP, MPP, and SPD), and parallel file systems.
- Supporting the HPC and ABS (ABUNDANTSHIELD high-speed shared parallel storage) SRE teams by adhering to government-designated policies and procedures aimed at enhancing sustainment responsibilities and improving mission operations for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for IT systems.
- Deliver Tier 1 (Help Desk) troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Oversee daily configuration and operation of IT systems.
- Assist users with IT system access and usage.
- Manage escalation processes for Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues.
- Monitor and resolve problems for client/server, storage, network devices, and mobile devices.
- Communicate status updates to agency management and internal customers.
- Optimize system operations and perform capacity analysis and planning.
