About the Role
As an Escrow Coordinator at Orchard, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating a smooth closing process for our home buying and selling clients. Your expertise in problem-solving and process management will be crucial from post-contract to closing, ensuring that our customers have an exceptional experience. You will juggle multiple tasks with competing deadlines, quickly adapt to new processes, and stay updated on changes as the business evolves.
This is a full-time, fully remote position based in Texas, reporting directly to the Escrow Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Escrow and Closing teams by preparing pre-close and post-close documents and tasks.
- Coordinate with customers and external providers to gather essential documents and information.
- Order payoffs, surveys, and home warranties.
- Prepare preliminary settlement statements and process lender title requests.
- Review contracts and commitments to ensure accuracy prior to closing.
- Identify and strategize solutions for issues related to contracts and title commitments.
- Compile all necessary documents for closing packages and files.
- Manage data and document storage, ensuring efficient transmission, scanning, and filing.
- Coordinate with customers and notaries to schedule closing times and locations.
- Work diligently within strict deadlines to ensure timely closings.
- Primarily handle Texas closings, with willingness to learn processes in other states.
