About the job
As an Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing and preparing bids for construction projects:
- Calculating preliminary costs and pricing estimates;
- Compiling comprehensive proposal documentation;
- Overseeing the project file throughout the transfer meeting.
Role Overview
- The appointed estimator will determine the anticipated cost of the project based on:
- Supplier and subcontractor pricing;
- Equipment utilization rates;
- Labor costs;
- Expected productivity rates per activity.
- The estimator supervises the preparation of the proposal file (with the sales price set by management).
- Depending on the submission outcome, the estimator will archive the price study digitally or forward it to the operations department.
- They will ensure the project file is managed until the transfer meeting (providing additional information for the Client, justifying pricing, etc.).
