Key Responsibilities:Preparation of Estimates:Gain a foundational understanding of layout plans, processes, procedures, and construction environments.Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare estimates for time, cost, materials, and labor with guidance from senior management.Support preconstruction efforts through document control, internal/external correspondence, and material research.Cost Analysis:Conduct quantity take-offs and build a foundational understanding of systems takeoff under the supervision of management.Learn about cost model processes, outreach, and validation.Collaboration and Coordination:Work closely with preconstruction, operational, and opportunity stakeholders to foster teamwork.Bid Management:Assist in the timely and accurate preparation and submission of comprehensive bid packages.Continuous Improvement:Participate in training, site visits, and tasks assigned by Chief Estimators to promote professional development.Stay informed about industry trends, advancements, and best practices in estimating and construction methodologies.Continuously seek ways to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the estimating process.
