Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Event Sales Representative to engage with homeowners at various community events, festivals, and home shows throughout the Boston area. Your primary responsibility will be to generate leads and schedule appointments for our sales team, all while representing our brand with professionalism and zeal.
This part-time, entry-level position provides paid training and an excellent opportunity to acquire valuable skills in sales, negotiation, strategic planning, and closing techniques. Unleash your creativity in communication while enjoying your role with the 3rd largest home remodeling company in the nation.
We value customer-facing experience from any industry. While backgrounds in sales, hospitality, retail, food service, education, or service are common, we welcome candidates from any role that demonstrates strong communication, adaptability, and interpersonal skills—essential qualities for success in this position. Direct event marketing experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
Event Day Responsibilities:
- Travel Requirements: As an Event Sales Representative, you will need to travel to various event locations such as home shows, community festivals, craft fairs, and other local events with significant foot traffic, typically within a designated region. Reliable transportation is essential for timely attendance.
- Setup & Physical Requirements: You will be responsible for setting up branded booths or displays, which includes signage, promotional materials, and product samples.
