About the RoleKestra is rapidly emerging as a leader in open-source orchestration platforms. However, we recognize that our presence in key developer communities remains minimal. Platforms such as Reddit, Hacker News, Discord, LinkedIn, and Stack Overflow are where developers engage in discussions about the tools they choose to work with, and we aim to establish a meaningful presence in these spaces.We are seeking an individual who is deeply integrated within developer communities. This role is not for someone who needs convincing to participate; rather, we need someone who is already passionate about these interactions. Your objective is to elevate Kestra into a trusted and respected voice in the conversations that resonate with our users and potential users.This position is fundamentally about Developer Relations, distinct from marketing or sales. The aim is to be valuable, credible, and consistently engaged, providing tangible benefits to the communities we become part of.What You'll DoEngage Where Developers ConverseParticipate authentically in discussions across platforms like Hacker News, Reddit, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Medium, Discord, Stack Overflow, and GitHub, focusing on workflow orchestration, data engineering, infrastructure automation, and open-source tools.Answer inquiries, impart knowledge, and actively contribute to discussions as a core aspect of your job.Identify the communities and topics where Kestra can make the most impact and cultivate a genuine presence over time.Create Meaningful ContentCollaborate with Product Marketing, Developer Relations, and Product teams to highlight use cases, comparisons, and informative content in appropriate communities at the right time.Contribute insights to subreddits, HN threads, LinkedIn posts, and Medium articles as an expert, rather than a mere promoter.Leverage AI tools to produce quality content swiftly without sacrificing depth or technical accuracy.Bridge Community Insights to Product DevelopmentProvide community feedback, recurring questions, and pain points to the product and engineering teams.Assist internal engineers and developer advocates in finding the right platforms to share their work when relevant.Establish relationships with technical content creators (YouTubers, bloggers, newsletter authors) who focus on orchestration and data.
