Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in construction and project management within land and infrastructure, whether as a consultant, client, or contractor. In terms of education, you should hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar qualification that equips you for this role.Given the client-facing nature of the role, we value structured and clear communication skills and an ability to listen to client needs and preferences. You are proactive in creating new business opportunities for yourself and your team. Additionally, you possess strong problem-solving skills and excellent leadership abilities.To succeed in this position, proficiency in both Swedish and English—spoken and written—is essential, as you will collaborate with both national and international stakeholders. Experience in leading teams in other countries is a plus.Experience in inspection or project audits is also an advantage.

In the role of Construction and Project Manager for land and infrastructure projects, you will lead, coordinate, and monitor our clients' projects. This position encompasses a variety of tasks, including project and construction management, site supervision, design management, and project engineering work. The projects you will oversee vary in scope and complexity, making this role both diverse and developmental.
As a Construction and Project Manager at AFRY, you will have significant autonomy as well as considerable responsibility. You will drive projects toward their overarching goals, ensure all parties are aligned, and provide continuous updates to the client and your direct manager at AFRY.
Your workplace will be one of our offices in Örebro, Västerås, or Uppsala.
