Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or Controller in a commercial construction environment.Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiar with complex construction accounting software, preferably Foundation.Strong understanding of construction finance and accounting practices, including job costing, P&L, budgeting, and project management.Experience managing Union Payroll and Fringe Benefits, along with incident reporting.Familiarity with insurance applications, audits, and claims management.Previous experience handling company tax preparation.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and positive outcomes.Able to make independent decisions, solve problems, and effectively prioritize responsibilities.A degree in Accounting or Finance, ideally an AA or Bachelor's degree.
